GAME CHANGERS
When community leaders approached us about hosting a charity event for Sidney Moncrief’s Hall of Fame induction, we knew it had to be special. A five-time NBA All-Star, NBA Legend, and dedicated community leader, Sidney is a true Milwaukee icon—and we weren’t about to settle for just a cocktail party.
Our Approach
Instead of a typical charity gala, we crafted a one-of-a-kind celebration of “Sir Sid”—honoring his legendary career while spotlighting his ongoing commitment to the community. Beyond the event itself, we built a sustainable revenue stream for his foundation, ensuring his impact continues for years to come.
We reintroduced Sidney Moncrief to a new generation of basketball fans, celebrating his legendary career with the Milwaukee Bucks. To honor his legacy, we designed a bold new logo and a signature “green rainbow” color treatment, bringing it all to life through a dedicated microsite that told his story in a modern way.
To blend classic and contemporary, we chose the iconic Nike Air Force 1—a shoe Sidney helped introduce in 1982—as the perfect canvas. Partnering with legendary sneaker artist Noel Alvarado, we brought a unique vision to life, with Noel meticulously handcrafting our one-of-a-kind design. Topped off with Sidney’s autograph, this exclusive piece became a highlight of the silent auction, fetching a high four-figure bid and making a lasting impact.
Street teams hit Milwaukee, transforming the city with Sid’s signature “Green Rainbow” in a bold tribute to his Hall of Fame induction. We also took the momentum online, spreading the design across social media and rallying fans with the hashtag #SaluteToSid, ensuring his legacy got the recognition it deserved.
We took our limited edition poster and T-shirt designs to the Bucks’ Pro Shop at the Fiserv Forum. Because all merchandise proceeds go directly to his foundation, we worked with our local supplier network to produce the merchandise cost-effectively to maximize revenue.
Honoring a legend and helping an underserved part of our local community.
